Welcome to Artotheke, a charming café nestled in the heart of Frankfurt at Nibelungenallee 59. More than just a café, this little gem combines a cozy atmosphere with a delightful menu, making it the perfect spot for both casual dining and a peaceful getaway from the bustling city.

Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a beautifully designed interior that creates a welcoming environment - a perfect balance between modern chic and rustic warmth. The ambient lighting and comfortable seating invite you to unwind with a cup of their expertly brewed coffee or indulge in one of their mouthwatering desserts.

At Artotheke, the menu boasts a variety of delicious options that cater to both breakfast enthusiasts and lunch lovers. Customers rave about the delectable sandwiches, the rich and creamy linsensuppe (lentil soup), and their fabulous array of pastries including the irresistible éclairs and Tiramisu. Whether you're craving a hearty focaccia or a scrumptious slice of the classic Black Forest Cake, you'll find that each item is crafted with care and attention to detail.

As you sip on your perfectly brewed coffee — available in various options including lactose-free and soy milk for those with dietary preferences — you can't help but notice the subtle aromas that fill the air. One happy customer, Prajwal Chipkar, describes the coffee selection as "great" and appreciates the friendly service provided by the staff who seem genuinely eager to enhance your café experience.

However, it’s worth noting that some patrons have mentioned that the service can be slower at times, a minor trade-off for the delightful flavors served at Artotheke. Customer Hyuetan echoed this sentiment but remained positive, highlighting the delicious ice latte as well as the appealing menu items.

With outdoor seating available during warm months, it’s an excellent choice for enjoying a leisurely afternoon or an invigorating start to your day. The strategic location is ideal; neighboring the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, Artotheke not only serves as a coffee stop but also offers a chance to explore one of Germany’s significant cultural hubs.

So whether you’re a local seeking a cozy corner to savor your coffee, or a visitor looking to experience Frankfurt’s café culture, Artotheke stands out as a worthy destination. Each visit leaves you with a sense of comfort and satisfaction, where every bite and sip is a reminder of the café's commitment to quality and atmosphere. Make sure to stop by, indulge your senses, and perhaps linger a little longer in this delightful haven!

Yummy sandwiches, tasty coffee, cozy atmosphere. Well recommended. Normally they were accepting dogs, but as of August 23, not anymore :(

Focaccia, Linsensuppe, frischkase, Eclair! All tastes nice! Ice latte is not bad too. But the service is quite slow.

Good food for breakfast or lunch. Good workers there, too. The place is comfortable. Nearby the Deutsche National Bibliothek.

This is our go to cafe. The coffee selection is great even with lactose free and soja milk. The staff is friendly and helpful. The snack selection is also good with variety of desserts such as Tiramisu, Black Forest Cake etc. The outdoor seating during warm months is relaxing. The location is also accessible with U Bahn and Nationalbibliothek just opposite of the cafe. A little gem in Frankfurt.

Delicious and authentic traditional Greek snacks (tiropita, spanakopita, bougatsa and others), cakes and very good coffee! All at reasonable prices at a beautifully made space. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

Nice cozy cafe with some pastries. I really love their homemade Greek pita, taste the same as I had in Athens, and they have lots of flavors, sweet or salty. You better go early, they have great business, especially for the takeaways. I love their bread as well, so fresh and tasty but it’s not homemade.
